Call for Papers

SeHAS implements the journal-first publication model. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the high-quality ecosystem provided by IEEE Embedded Systems Letters (ESL). If your submission is accepted, it will be published in IEEE ESL. Authors of accepted papers will have the opportunity to present their work through a presentation at SeHAS. One registration per presenter at the HiPEAC conference is mandatory. We look forward to receiving your submissions and engaging in fruitful discussions at SeHAS.

SeHAS 2026 invites original research papers on all aspects of security in hardware, architectures, and software. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Deadlines

Submission: September 15, 2025

Notification: approx. 4 weeks after the submission deadline

As the submitted papers are reviewed within the standard IEEE ESL review system, we cannot offer a fixed notification date. However, ESL aims to notify authors of the review outcome within 4 weeks of the submission deadline.

Submission Guidelines

Length

Submitted letters must be four pages or fewer, including all figures, tables, and references. More information on the format can be found here.

Review process

The review is processed by IEEE Embedded Systems Letters (ESL).

Publication

All accepted papers will be published in IEEE ESL.

Presentation

Authors of accepted papers will have the opportunity to present their work at SeHAS@HIPEAC 2026 in Kraków, Poland. To present a paper at SeHAS, the presenting author must register for the HiPEAC conference (see registration details).
